A lifetime rancher and longtime Brazos Valley resident, Kyle Kacal is an effective conservative voice for rural Texans. He is a strong fiscal conservative and a staunch supporter of independent liberties and personal freedom. Working in the legislature, Kyle has established a record of finding common sense solutions founded on conservative principles.
Kyle runs a large-scale cattle business on his ranch outside College Station, focusing on breeding and raising beef cattle, and operates a full-service hunting business during the fall and spring. As a rancher, he knows firsthand the burden government regulations and high taxes have on agriculture and other small businesses in Texas. That’s why he works hard to foster an environment in Texas where businesses can create jobs and grow our economy.
In 1992, Kyle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University. Following his graduation from Texas A&M, Kyle worked for Jefferson Pilot before pursuing a Certificate of Ranch Management from Texas Christian University. After obtaining his graduate certificate, Kyle returned to the Brazos Valley, where he has lived and worked ever since. Kyle and Marci, his wife of over 24 years, have two children, Carter and Kendall. The family is actively involved in their church, St. Thomas Aquinas.
