Kyle Kacal is the only candidate for House District 12 to be endorsed by any of Texas’ most prominent pro-life groups. Since first elected in 2012, Rep. Kacal has been a consistently strong voice for the unborn. He proudly supported HB 2, the historic pro-life legislation that banned abortions after 20 weeks. “The sanctity of life is one of my top priorities, and I have fought to protect women and the unborn from the harms of abortion,” said Kacal, “I am honored to have the support of Texas Right to Life, Texas Alliance for Life, and LifePAC.”
In the most recent session, Kacal worked to add more protections for minors by reforming the judicial bypass process, increased the information and resources for parents with children diagnosed with Down Syndrome, and required that end-of-life patients cannot be denied basic human rights like nutrition, hydration, and pain management. “The effort to create and maintain a culture of life in Texas is a continuously ongoing fight. I was proud to work alongside House Republicans to accomplish all of these goals and to further de-fund Planned Parenthood and their practices that harm women and babies,” Kacal stated.
